Make The Most Of Your Beauty Sleep

Make The Most Of Your Beauty Sleep

Tick-Tock, Beauty Clock

We are all familiar with the saying “get your beauty sleep,” but what does that actually entail? While it does relate to the quality of shut eye you get at night, everything you do throughout the day can affect your sleep – and your skin! Here is a guide for beautiful sleep.

1 pm – Drink water! This is your best defense against dehydration throughout the day, which shows on your skin and effects your energy levels. Using skin care products with hyaluronic acid also helps improve water holding capacity in the skin. Try an Epionce Renewal Facial product for your skin type for a more youthful appearance.

3 pm – Avoid touching your face. This bad habit leaves blemish-causing dirt and bacteria on the skin. Use only blotting cloths if your face seems oily during the afternoon.

5 pm – Hit the gym for at least half an hour. Exercise will help improve beauty sleep. Don’t forget to wash your face and body after your workout with Lytic Gel Cleanser. The refreshing cleanser help remove dirt, oil and sweat to help prevent blemishes from forming.

7 pm – Avoid a nightly cup of coffee or wine, as these drinks tend to interrupt your beauty sleep. Try a cup of caffeine-free spearmint tea, which has been shown to help clear blemish-prone skin.

9 pm – Your skin rejuvenates overnight so it is essential to keep an efficient nightly skin care routine. Start with a hydrating cleanser, such as Epionce Milky Lotion Cleanser, to leave your skin moisturized and smooth, without irritation. Use an Epionce Lytic product for skin type to help retexturize and smooth skin contour, and always finish with a moisturizing product such as Renewal Facial Cream or Intensive Nourishing Cream.

10 pm – For an extra beauty boost, use a hydrating mask like Epionce Enriched Firming Mask and leave on overnight. Try this 1-2 times per week to help calm visible irritation and improve skin radiance. At night, cleanse skin and follow with an application of Enriched Firming Mask – leaving on while you sleep. Wash skin in the morning and finish with your normal AM skin care routine.
